Think about the last time you had a huge zit on your face. Do you remember how your energy contracted and you wanted to honor your invisibility by avoiding all social contacts? How this experience of yourself was literally the opposite of radiant and bold let alone sexy and sensual? This phenomenon is all the more disabling when we are plagued by complex illnesses like digestive distress, pain, and fatigue. But when our bodies are in harmony, our energy expands and our desire to connect is amplified.
As my patients move through the process of physical healing, the side effects look like an infomercial– shinier, fuller hair, effortless weight loss, improved libido, clearer skin! But the effects are show-stopping. These women, quite literally, wake up to themselves, like so many limbs that begin to tingle with the sensation of having been asleep.
What if we can have it all? Soulful Sexy.
When I speak of the gifts of transformation and feminine embodiment, some women may be wondering,“yeah, yeah, but what’s in it for me?!”Spiritual goals sound great in theory, but most of us want “real life” shifts too. Living in the real world includes loving our capable, attractive, sex-ready-and-worthy bodies. It involves moving through the mundane experiences of life with grace. It involves getting things done and it involves having fun.
So many spiritual mandates ask us to focus on cultivation of our higher centers and abandonment of our physical selves. Organized religion has supported the divorce from our “sinful” bodies in favor of our pure souls, but that thinking no longer serves. We need to be everything all at once, now. We need to soulify our bodies and sensualize our souls.
The Japanese call having it all from purpose to prosperity,Ikigai. Kundalini yoga, too, is predicated on bringing “heaven and earth” into alignment. The householder’s yoga, it promises to keep spiritual seekers from years spent meditating in the solitude of a cave to attain enlightenment and freedom. Instead, you live your life, and you get past your own blocks while doing it. Transcend and then do the laundry. It celebrates sexuality, femininity, and aesthetic adornment while being a technology of unconscious healing.
Own Your Body to Get Free
While my patients want their symptoms – depression, anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, or even destructive behaviors, and impulsivity – gone, they also want to come into themselves. They want a new chapter. We all want to feel self-possessed and this includes, perhaps is even defined by, feeling possessed of our sensuality, beauty, and radiance. We want to feel the gaze of adoration tracking us. We want to feel desirable, even irresistible, to everyone we encounter. But, somehow, efforts to get that bikini body, attract that perfect guy, and get rich in 30 days seem to leave us feeling more dependent on gimmicky promises and an endless pursuit of getting better, being better, doing better. It turns out that saying is true – beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If you don’t fall in love with yourself, others will only hold a mirror to your self-loathing, rejection, and attachment to external validation.
But what does that old trope even mean – fall in love with yourself?
Loving Yourself: How to Get There
Loving yourself has a couple of discernable steps from what I’ve observed:
Walk the walk of self-care: until you do, act like you do. Commit to a discipline of self-care. Take it seriously. Just do it.
Forgive yourself: Understand that we act from the totality of who we are at any given time. You have done what you knew to do, and as you know better, you will do better.
Integrate: Turn over every stone, look for your blindspots, examine what you are resisting. Make sure that what you believe, say, and do are all the same thing.
Allow for the shadow: Forget being “all love”. We are everything including our blemishes and our flaws. Haul it all out into the light. Laugh at it. Love it. Own it.
Find your gift: What are you here to give? What is your unique offering to the community of humans. If you don’t know, you will when you’ve gone through steps 1-4!
This is the process of coming into alignment with your feminine power, and trust me, it looks nothing like clawing your way to the top of a man’s game. It’s a soft strength, one that has taken me years to surrender to from my more righteous, intellectualized posture. This power is irresistible. It is, ultimately, the definition of attractive because we are most attracted by novelty, dynamism, and the unexpected. We may think we want domestic safety and certitude, but we are wired for untamed wildness. When we are in our feminine empowerment, we are open to what is, what comes, and what may be. We don’t cower under constructs, rules, and illusions of safety. We create and recreate ourselves the way that the natural world does. We become more process than person.
There are a couple of ways to invest in the return on your commitment to self-love, here are my tools:
Sensuality 101: 6 Tools for Inner and Outer Radiance
1. Put in maximal effort, then relax
I believe deeply in self-care. I honor the gift of this body in my daily routine, my exercise, my many appointments with healers, and my commitment to an early morning practice. I commit to an evolving roster of personal responsibilities, and then I do something important – I relax. I forget about all the vigilance so that my day is not a white noise of swirling loose ends and condemning unfinished to dos. I put in the effort, no cheating, and then I enjoy the freedom it affords. I believe this effort is particularly critical in the beginning of the healing journey. Walking the walk of this discipline is a great act of self-love.
2. Paint your canvas
I’m pretty sure that I was the only one in a room of 50 kundalini teacher trainees who put mascara on before our 4am sadhana. I’ve even been known to wear lipstick (EWG approved!) home alone. I love fashion, and I feel set free by my self-decoration. To me, makeup and clothes can be exceedingly feminine, or they can be the shackles of self-diminishment and societal oppression like some sort of Stockholm Syndrome. The difference is in the attitude of celebration and ownership.
3. What’s behind the curtain?
I have a big mouth and I love to talk. An oversharer, I can suffer from what Francis Weller refers to aspremature disclosure. That’s why, when I was advised by multiple teachers and healers to get quiet, go inward, and cultivate secrets, I knew that they were on to something big. I knew that this was the road to a different kind of power and self-possession, one that didn’t depend on a need to be seen in order to feel real. This is different from hiding. In fact, cultivated allure is as different from private shame as fasting is from starving.
4. Vulnerable is new sexy
We’ve gotten messaging that sexiness comes from dominance, control, and power. Au contraire. Conscious exploration of our fears, shadow sides, and wounds brings us into an openness and a softness that is true femininity. This is the Adi Shakti – the balance of warrior and nurturer that renders women infinitely powerful and human in all the right ways.
5. You’ve got this
As you confront your shadow, sit with your grief, and move through intense challenges of integration without the crutches of our modern paradigm (meds, substances, self-sabotage) then you will develop an ever-stronger trust in yourself. When you trust yourself, you enter into any situation with a fundamental core confidence. You know, that no matter what, you’ve got this. In fact, even if it seems like you don’t and something funky goes down, you know that it’s all.going.to.be.OK. This dramatically reduces freakouts and the pressure that can render us social liabilities. Your ease becomes contagiously magnetic.
6. Cultivate joy
I love to dance. I don’t even care whether I’m good, but I will tell you that desire pours from my body when I watch a gifted dancer do their thing. Nick Gonzalez wrote me once, “warriors, in the highest sense, always love to dance.” When you make space for this kind of unbridled joy in your life, it radiates. Others feel it and they want a piece of it too. It’s this lightness and sparkle with the gravity of a well-examined life, deeply-held beliefs, and an open heart that adds up to true radiance.
We, as women, need to dip into our creative energy in order to fuel our rebirthing. We need to own, wield, and vertically integrate our sensuality. To supercharge this process, I often recommend the kundalini transformer,Sat Kriya. 11 minutes every morning, before dawn, for 40 days. That’s how you work it, girl.
Dirty Vaccines: Every Human Vaccine Tested Was Contaminated With Metals and Debris in New Study
Researchers examining 44 samples of 30 different vaccines found dangerous contaminants, including red blood cells in one vaccine and metal toxicants in every single sample tested – except in one animal vaccine.
Using extremely sensitive new technologies not used in vaccine manufacturing, Italian scientists reported they were “baffled” by their discoveries which included single particles and aggregates of organic debris including red cells of human or possibly animal origin and metals including lead, tungsten, gold, and chromium, that have been linked to autoimmune disease and leukemia.
In the study, published this week in the International Journal of Vaccines and Vaccination, the researchers led by Antoinetta Gatti, of the National Council of Research of Italy and the Scientific Director of Nanodiagnostics, say their results “show the presence of micro- and nano-sized particulate matter composed of inorganic elements in vaccine samples” not declared in the products’ ingredients lists.
Lead particles were found in the cervical cancer vaccines, Gardasil and Cevarix, for example, and in the seasonal flu vaccine Aggripal manufactured by Novartis as well as in the Meningetec vaccine meant to protect against meningitis C.
Samples of an infant vaccine called Infarix Hexa (against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, poliomyelitis and haemophilus influenzae type B) manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline was found to contain stainless steel, tungsten and a gold-zinc aggregate.
Other metal contaminants included platinum, silver, bismuth, iron, and chromium. Chromium (alone or in alloy with iron and nickel) was identified in 25 of the human vaccines from Italy and France that were tested.
GSK’s Fluarix vaccine for children three years and older contained 11 metals and aggregates of metals. Similar aggregates to those identified in the vaccines have been shown to be prevalent in cases of leukemia, the researchers noted.
Many of the vaccines contained iron and iron alloys which, according to the researchers, “can corrode and thecorrosion products exert a toxicity affecting the tissues”.
The researchers supply an image of an area in a drop of Sanofi Pasteur MSD’sRepevax (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio) vaccine “where the morphology of red cells - we cannot tell whether they are human or animal- is clearly visible” along with the presence of “debris” composed of aluminum, bromine, silicon, potassium and titanium.
Feligen, the only veterinary vaccine tested in the 44 total vaccines sampled, proved to be the only sample free from inorganic contamination.
The investigation revealed aluminum and sodium chloride, the usual component of saline, as was expected, because they are named ingredients of most vaccines. Using a Field Emission Gun Environmental Electron Scanning Microscope, the researchers produced photos of this aluminum salt which formed white crystalline branches similar to frost on a windowpane on the top of the droplets of vaccine liquid. A German-made vaccine against allergies produced a layer of inorganic salts so thick that the researchers could not penetrate the drop not to detect other particulate contaminants.
Aluminum has a documented neurotoxicity all by itself. The French veterinary vaccines exclude it for this reason. The human ones don’t. The researchers express concern about synergy of multiple toxins added to this known neurotoxin. “It is a well-known fact in toxicology that contaminants exert a mutual, synergic effect, and as the number of contaminants increases, the effects grow less and less predictable. The more so when some substances are unknown.”
“The quantity of foreign bodies detected and, in some cases, their unusual chemical compositions baffled us,” the researchers note. “In most circumstances, the combinations detected are very odd as they have no technical use, cannot be found in any material handbook and look like the result of the random formation occurring, for example, when waste is burnt. In any case, whatever their origin, they should not be present in any injectable medicament, let alone in vaccines, more in particular those meant for infants.”
The study explains that these foreign injected impurities may explain a vast array of apparently unrelated adverse events associated with vaccination from headaches and seizures to fatigue, muscle pain, paralysis andsudden infant death syndrome. More likely than not, they speculate, vaccine contaminants will “have a more serious impact on very small organisms like those of children.”
Once inside a body, foreign material in a vaccine shot, whether it is meant to be there as in the case of an aluminum, or not, in the case of contaminants, launches the formidable immune system into action.
As with anything small and foreign, its reaction to vaccine ingredients is potent, poorly understood, unpredictable, and as the Italian researchers say, may be “undesirable.” The immune system may dispatch an army of large white blood cells called macrophages to engulf the foreign bodies and contain them in swellings andgranulomas at the injection site. But if the contaminants are swept away in the blood’s circulation to any distant site or organ including the microbiota, which regulate numerous functions including the immune system, their effect could be felt long after they covertly entered the body.
In some cases, the immune system my initiate an inflammatory assault against what it perceives as invader. This may include the launch of a host of players called cytokines. Some of these chemical messengers like interleukin-6 are incriminated in autism.
Because the body may have difficulty removing these contaminants, this kind of inflammation may be sustained and chronic and can manifest as autoimmune diseases when the immune system turns on its own cells as in multiple sclerosis or type 1 diabetes.
It’s also been shown that the contaminants found in the vaccines can enter cell nuclei andinteract with DNA, the researchers note. No one knows what that can do.
Vaccines have a long and sordid history of contamination. In 1955 batches of polio vaccine containing live polio virus infected and paralysed hundreds of children. The tragedy became known as the Cutter Incident for the laboratory where the vaccines had passed safety tests with flying colors.
But there are dozens of other “incidents” which would better be called acts of criminal negligence, including:
The polio vaccine doled out between 1955 and 1963 was contaminated with simian virus 40 (SV40) from monkey kidney cells used to produce the vaccine. It’s been linked to the growing epidemic of cancer.
In 2007, Merck & Company, Inc. recalled 1.2 million doses of Hib vaccines due to contamination with bacteria called B. cereus, a potentially lethal food-poisoning bug.
In 2009, more than 40,000 doses of a meningitis C vaccine for babies were withdrawn from the British market when they were found to be contaminated with blood-poisoning bacteria, S aureus.
In 2010, deep sequence analysis of eight different live attenuated virus vaccines revealed unexpected viral sequences in three of them: retrovirus avian leukosis was found in a measles vaccine, a virus similar to simian retrovirus was identified in Rotateq anti-diarrhea vaccine developed by CDC consultant Paul Offit, and the entire genome sequence of porcine cirovirus1 was found in Rotarix leading the FDA to suspend the rotavirus vaccine.
In 2014, The US Food and Drug Administration ordered GlaxoSmithKline to review the manufacturing operation of its flu vaccine when it found microbiological contamination of products purporting to be sterile.
In 2013, Merck & Company, Inc. recalled one batch of Gardasil when glass particles were discovered in several phials.
Recently it was reported that Sanofi Pasteur refused to recall its ActHIB vaccine for babies, even though it knew it was contaminated with glass shards. The FDA didn’t object.
There are dozens of these cases, and even if vaccine manufacturers are issued multiple “warnings” action is rarely ever taken to clean the vaccine manufacture process. Since pharmaceutical companies have blanket indemnity from lawsuits for faulty vaccines, there is no incentive for them to clean up their act.
Clear and present danger
The study investigators conclude that the vaccine contamination they found is likely accidental. “Our hypothesis is that this contamination is unintentional, since it is probably due to polluted components or procedures of industrial processes (e.g. filtrations) used to produce vaccines, not investigated and not detected by the Producers”.
Discussion about why pharmaceutical companies don’t produce clean vaccines is one thing. But the reality of vaccines as they are now is another. It doesn’t change what is being injected into millions of people today. Dangerous unintended toxins are in every one of the vaccines tested in this investigation, except one for cats.
This research doesn’t just show that vaccines are full of crud that top scientists can’t even define. It makes a mockery of health oversight agencies like the FDA and CDC and their lies that vaccines undergo adequate safety checks and risk assessment.
It doesn’t merely reveal that the long-term consequences of vaccinating cannot even be assessed. If anti-cancer vaccines like Gardasil and Cevarix contain cancer-causing aggregates of toxic metals, their use as a weapon against a cancer a girl has zero chance of getting before age 21 is not just useless. It is egregious abuse.
Now, every vaccine’s claims to saving lives must be weighed against its risks of causing cancer, neurodevelopmental disease, autoimmune disease and every other immune-mediated “mystery” disorder now epidemic and soaring.
The results of these investigations not only negate every assertion that vaccines are “safe and effective”, but they confirm that they are actually a clear and present danger.

Many diabetics already know about the benefits of alow-glycemic diet and the need for regular exercise, but why haven't they heard about turmeric, one of the world's most extensively researched anti-diabetic plants?
The study reviewed research published between 1998 to 2013 that indicates the active polyphenol in turmeric known as curcumin may provide an ideal intervention for type 2 diabetes, capable of mitigating characteristic pathophysiological hallmarks of the disease such as elevated blood sugar (hyperglycemia) and insulin resistance.
Nineteen of the studies reviewed were cell (in vitro) and animal (in vivo), all which showed beneficial effects. Five of the studies were human clinical trials using turmeric or curcumin, three of which were performed in those with either diabetes or prediabetes.
Amazingly, the animal and cell research literature review concluded that curcumin could improve the type 2 diabetic state through 10 distinctly different mechanisms, such as:
Reduction in liver glucose production
Reduction in liver glycogen production
Stimulation of increased glucose uptake (by increasing GLUT4, GLUT2 and GLUT3 gene expressions)
Increasing the activation of AMP kinase
Promoting PPAR γ ligand- binding activity
Suppressing hyperglycemia-induced inflammatory state
Stimulating insulin secretion from pancreatic tissues
Improvement in pancreatic cell function,
Increasing phosphorylation of AKT
Increasing insulin receptor β and reduction of insulin resistance
The human clinical research conducted on diabetic and pre-diabetic patients revealed that curcumin had the following beneficial effects:
Glucose lowering effect
Improved beta cell function
Improved fatty acid oxidation and utilization
One of these studies is especially worth highlighting, as it found a turmeric extract was highly effective in preventing the development of diabetes within pre-diabetic subjects. The study published in 2012, in the American Diabetic Association's own journal, Diabetes Care, and titled, "Curcumin extract for the prevention of type 2 diabetes," found that the administration of six capsules containing 250 mg of curcumin daily for 9 months was 100% effective at preventing the development of type 2 diabetes in prediabetics; more specifically: "16.4% of the subjects in the placebo group were diagnosed with T2DM, whereas none were diagnosed with T2DM."
Observed effects like these are extremely promising when viewed within the context of the highly dismal pharmaceutically-based standard of care. For instance, oral anti-diabetic drugs like metformin are notorious for their serious side effects. They often lower blood sugar, generating the surface appearance of physiological normality, e.g. blood sugar within range, but actually increase morbidity and mortality. With the possibility of deadly side effects, we need natural, safe, affordable and easily accessible alternatives like turmeric now more than ever.
Moreover, despite the well known problem of insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes, recombinant or genetically modified insulin is often used in these patients – a highly illogical and irresponsible approach, and which is endemic to a medical paradigm that does not seek to identity for resolve root causes of disease. A small, but highly concerning recent clinical study found that insulin accelerated the progression of type 2 diabetes, as well as caused type 1 diabetes, or "double diabetes."
Diabetes is, of course, driven by a dietary pattern that reflects evolutionary mismatch, i.e. theWestern diet is a lethal disease vector that has no resemblance to the traditional diet humans consumed for thousands of years, and upon which it still depends for good health. Turmeric, therefore, while an amazing alternative to diabetic drugs, should not be considered a "natural cure"; rather, it is something of a palliative counter-balance to a biologically inappropriate diet, which while far better than pharmaceuticals (learn more by reading: Science Confirms Turmeric As Effective As 14 Drugs), still needs to be part of a broader, more holistic plan that takes into account diet, exercise, toxicant exposure, and mind-body/emotional factors that underpin well-being and contribute significantly to most dis-eases.
