Three specific amino acids help
you drop unwanted pounds without
dieting and exercise

If you struggle with your weight, there might be something rather easy to do and consider. It doesn't require a diet, a lifestyle change, or exercise. Sounds too good to be true, but there's evidence this will work.
You may know that proteins are made up of amino acids, and that there are nine essential amino acids. The latter means you can get them only in your diet (like essential fatty acids).
Of these essential amino acids, there are three that are "branched chain." That refers to their unique molecular structure. These are leucine, isoleucine, and valine.
A study on 500 subjects who lost weight during a weight loss trial examined them for specific biochemical markers. The researchers found higher levels of branched chain amino acid (BCAA) and their metabolites. They also found that these people were more likely to have improved insulin resistance independent of weight loss. Their conclusion is that those with adequate levels of these nutrients may be more likely to succeed in weight loss.

This is the first information I've seen regarding specific amino acids and weight. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and enzymes. These branched chain molecules are essential amino acids. While we don't know exactly how these specific amino acids relate to insulin metabolism, it's possible that supplemental BCAA might provide crucial building blocks for insulin-related activities.
If you'd like to give it a try, you can find BCAA supplements in some health food stores and online. Simply type in BCAA on an Internet search and lots of products will come up. I'd suggest following label directions for use.
