- Chemical In Popular “BPA-Free” Bottles Causes Brain Damage

Do you drink from the known BPA-free bottles? It has been revealed that these bottles have been linked to brain damage.
BPA is also known as Bisphenol A which is a common chemical found in plastic materials. More than 90 percent of us have BPA in our bodies right now. BPA is common in baby bottles, sippy cups, baby formula cans, and other products for children and babies. BPA has been known to cause hyperactivity, cardiac arrhythmia, liver tumors, autism, diabetes, asthma, infertility, and obesity. This chemical has hormone disrupting tendencies that can harm the development of the brain and prevent the growth of new neurons.
Many companies have stopped using BPA and have replaced it with BPS, Bisphenol S. But, it has been found the BPS is just as bad if not worse than BPA. BPS changes the timing of neuron formation in the brain. BPA and BPS scramble brain development that takes place during the second trimester of pregnancy, which causes too many neurons to form early and not enough to later in development.
BPS is known as an organic compound that has two phenol functional groups. It is commonly used as a reactant in epoxy reactions and is used in curing fast drying epoxy resin glues. So, how is this good to be put into the things around us? Just because you take one bad chemical out does not mean you should put in a worse chemical to make up for the least harmful chemical!
Avoid drinking out of plastic bottles, even the ones that claim to be BPA-free. Because, more than likely they contain BPS, which is worse.
Avoid canned foods.
Do not use plastic storage containers.
Don’t take receipts unless they are absolutely necessary to have, because receipt paper contains a coating of BPA or BPS.
