Don’t Vote for Obama by Default

Don’t Vote for Obama by Default
By Jim O'Neill Sunday, November 2, 2008

“If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.” – Abraham Lincoln

When Obama says that he wants to “spread the wealth around” we can, for once, take him at his word.

Obama’s vision for America’s future is one of Marxist Socialism, where personal excellence will be penalized, and cultural mediocrity lionized.

His proposed massive tax increase, if implemented in the current economic situation, is a recipe for ruin. It’s exactly what was tried just after the Wall Street collapse of 1929 – with catastrophic results for the global economy. The U.S. struggled for over a decade to overcome the lame-brained economic theories that sent it into such a precipitous tailspin.

What Obama openly says is bad enough, but what about his real agenda? What about the stuff he has successfully kept hidden from the public? Why all the deception, evasiveness, and duplicity regarding his past associations?

If you “connect the dots” in Obama’s background, you’ll find the picture of a man who has consistently surrounded himself with, or nurtured relationships with, ideological extremists – Marxists, militant Muslims, Socialists, Communists, radical Black Power advocates.

For example: Frank Marshall Davis (Obama’s mentor “Frank” in Obama’s “autobiography”) was a fervent Communist, pedophile, and Black Power extremist – look it up. Unrepentant terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn were NOT, as Obama claims “just people in the neighborhood” – Obama and his wife had contact with them on numerous occasions. Obama states that he had “many talks” with Rashid Khalidi—Khalidi has called 9/11 “a godsend.“

Let’s not forget Jerimiah “God Damn America” Wright. This black racist was Obama’s religious mentor for over twenty years. Then there’s Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga – Obama’s “cousin”—a rabid Marxist and militant Muslim, who has received emails, phone calls, and visits from Obama. The litany of leftists, radicals, militants, and extremists continues until it fades into the shadows of Obama’s intentionaly murky past – murky except for Obama’s version of it.

A quote from Euripides comes to mind: “Every man is like the company he keeps.”

If Euripides is right, and I believe he is, then Obama is a radical extremist. Call him a “Trojan Horse” or a “wolf in sheep’s clothing,” call him what you will, he is not who he, and the MSM, say he is.

Obama’s like the man behind the curtain in “The Wizard of Oz.” Except in this case, the wizard in front is an affable, charming politician, and the frightening demagogue hides behind the curtain.

Behind all the enchanting but empty rhetoric of hope and change, stands a hidden agenda of radical upheaval and revolution: an international agenda of surrender, appeasement, and American mea culpas, coupled with a national agenda of class warfare, racial strife, and radical redistribution of wealth.

As I mentioned in an earlier article of mine, if you decide to sit out this election, or vote Independent, then you are by default voting for Obama. Do you really want to do that?

Surely, voting for McCain, a man whose past service proves an unquestionable patriotism, is preferable to a de facto vote for an individual whose past is shadowed by radical associations, duplicity, and unanswered questions.

McCain may not send a thrill up your leg, but Obama sure ought to send a chill down your spine.
