Here’s How to Get Fluoride Out of Your System

Did you know that fluoride bio-accumulates within the body? This means that the more you drink or eat – the more it will accumulate in body tissues. The thyroid is especially damaged by fluoride exposure because its store of iodine is depleted. Iodine deficiency affects the thyroid’s metabolic and immune functions, leading to hypothyroidism and lowered immunity.

Exposure to fluoride may increase your risk for 23 different cancers, lower your child’s IQ and age you faster.  The good news; however, is that there are practical steps you can take to detoxify your body of fluoride naturally

Here’s How to Get Fluoride Out of Your System
SAUNA
As the ancient Finnish saying goes, “Sauna is a poor-man’s drugstore.”  s with many other toxic substances, a powerful dry sauna session can help to excrete sodium fluoride from fatty tissues. Be sure to drink up on purified water to replenish yourself afterwards.
Perspiration is one of the best ways to get rid of toxins.  Sauna baths raise our bodies  temperature, thus stimulating sweat glands. Built up toxins get such as fluoride, copper, lead, sodium, mercury and other dangerous chemicals get eliminated through sweat. If you really wish to improve your health you can even install a personal sauna at home.  Let those built up toxins pour out of your body… improving your overall health. Research has found that the far-infrared sauna is much more detoxifying that any type of traditional sauna because the deep penetration of the infrared energy allows for better toxin elimination.  As you detox, you should be drinking large amounts of clean water.

Selenium
Selenium has been called a nature’s antidote for access fluoride. According to Food Consumer, A new study in the Journal of Hygiene Research suggests that taking selenium supplements or eating selenium-rich foods may help reduce the damage to neurons and minimize memory loss induced by fluoride…”  Selenium is necessary for forming important antioxidant enzymes that help prevent cellular damage from free radicals.  As we know fluoride damages thyroid, so taking selenium is critical for proper thyroid functioning. Selenium also plays a role in the immune system.

Selenium has been proven to stop damage to the heart, liver, kidneys that can be caused by excess fluoride. One study also showed that selenium increased the rate of elimination of fluoride in the urine. According to the NIH, the upper tolerable intake for selenium is 400 micrograms daily.

Some good dietary sources of selenium: Mushrooms, egg yolks, seafood, poultry and kidney, liver and muscle meats contain the mineral. Vegetables — garlic, onions, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes. In order for your body to absorb selenium better,  avoid taking taking it with zinc or vitamin C.
